EYE EXAMS
At San Antonio Eyeworks, we strive to provide comprehensive, primary and secondary eye care for the whole family. Preventative and routine eye exams are important to maintaining good eye health. Often, eye and vision problems do not have obvious symptoms or signs, but are easily diagnosed by a comprehensive eye examination. By diagnosing eye and vision conditions early on, our optometrist is able provide treatment options and in many cases restore or prevent vision loss.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR NEXT EYE EXAM
As part of your comprehensive eye exam Dr. Pezeshk will:
Examine the eye for a prescription for glasses or contacts.
Evaluate eye health by visually inspecting the eye and eyelids using magnification and a bright light.
Examine the internal structures of the eye, which may involve dilation of the pupils. Increased eye pressure may be an indicator of glaucoma, so we utilize tonometry to measure eye pressure.
After completing these tests, Dr. Pezeshk reviews the results and discusses any applicable management and treatment with you.

LENSES
San Antonio Eyeworks provides free form lenses using the newest digital surfacing equipment. This new technology creates a significant improvement over traditional processing by allowing production within 1/100th of a diopter in accuracy. Just as important as lens material are lens coatings.
Lens coatings are critical in protecting lenses from scratches and improving your visual experience. However, not all coatings are created equal. Low end coatings can crack or craze thus ruining the lenses. At San Antonio Eyeworks, we stand behind the quality of our lenses and offer only the most highly rated, first class lenses and coatings on the market. Our goal is to not only personalize each and every patient experience, but to customize glasses to each and every patient's needs.
CONTACT LENSES
Contact lenses are not an easy solution for every person suffering with vision problems. Some eye-conditions make wearing contacts a difficult proposition. However, it does not rule out wearing contact lenses altogether. It just means patients need to discuss options with their eye care provider and obtain specialized hard to fit contacts for their specific vision problems.
