Lastly, watery eyes can also be a symptom of dry eyes.  Especially during winter, your eyes will over-stimulate tear production as a protective mechanism.  But this tear production does not stay on the eye long enough to provide adequate lubrication.

Dry Eye Tests

For some individuals, dry eye syndrome is easily managed with simple solutions like over-the-counter eye drops and frequent breaks from screen time. However, the severity of dry eye can vary, and for some, it can be a persistent and painful condition that significantly affects daily life.

In more advanced cases, specialized treatments such as punctal plugs, amniotic membranes, serum tears, scleral lenses, or IPL therapy may be necessary to provide lasting relief.
